PineFog Studios LLC ("PineFog", "we") makes the game Tattie Bogle and runs pinefog.com. This policy explains what information we handle and why. It is short because we collect very little.
This website
- pinefog.com has no accounts, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking cookies.
- The site is hosted on Google Firebase Hosting, which records standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and requested page) for security and operation. See the Google Privacy Policy.
- Embedded trailers use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). If you play a video, YouTube's own policies apply.
Tattie Bogle (the game)
- Tattie Bogle is distributed through Steam. Purchases, accounts, achievements and online multiplayer are handled by Valve under the Steam Privacy Policy. We receive only aggregate sales and usage reports from Steam.
- The game saves your progress, settings and diagnostic log files locally on your own computer. These files are not uploaded to us. If you choose to send us a log file with a bug report, we use it only to fix the problem.
- The game contains no ads and no third-party analytics.
Community and contact
If you join our Discord server, follow us on social media or email us, those platforms' own privacy policies apply. We use only what you share with us to reply and to run the community.
Social publishing tools
We use an internal tool, PineFog Social Publisher, to post our own videos and announcements to PineFog's official accounts on YouTube, X and Discord, and to read basic statistics (views, likes, reposts) for those posts. It is used only by PineFog staff, on accounts we own. It does not collect, store or share data about other users, and it does not sell or use data for advertising.
- YouTube: the tool uses YouTube API Services to upload videos to the PineFog Studios channel and read statistics for our own videos. Use of the tool is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. Access can be revoked at any time from Google security settings.
- X: the tool uses the X API to publish posts and media to PineFog's X account and read engagement counts for those posts, under the X Developer Agreement and Policy and the X Privacy Policy. Access can be revoked from X's connected apps settings.
- Discord: our PineFog bot posts announcements and clips in our own Discord server. It reads messages only where needed to operate in channels we run, under the Discord Privacy Policy.
- Access tokens for these services are stored encrypted on our own server and are never shared with third parties.
Sharing, retention and your rights
We do not sell or rent personal information. We keep emails and bug reports only as long as needed to respond. You can ask what information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing andy@pinefog.com.
Children
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
